PRODIGYCLEAR PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Prodigy Life LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Prodigy Healing (“Prodigy Life,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the ProdigyClear mobile application (the “App”).

This policy applies to the App and to the ProdigyClear cloud services used with it. Our website and in-person services are covered by the separate privacy policy at https://prodigyhealing.com/privacy-policy/.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

  1. THE SHORT VERSION

ProdigyClear is designed to keep your information under your control.

  • The free reference library works entirely on your device, with no account.
  • The notes, favorites, custom entries, clients, and sessions you create are stored on your device. They are copied to our servers only if you sign in to a Prodigy Account and have an active ProdigyClear Cloud subscription (or access we have granted), which turns on backup and sync.
  • Some features send specific information at your direction, and only then: emailing a session record to a client, the optional Prodigy AI dream reading, Ask ProdigyClear, Wording Help for session intentions, and reporting a Prodigy AI answer.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and the App contains no advertising and no cross-app tracking.
  • Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store on Apple devices and by Google Play on Android. We never see your payment card details.

The sections below give the complete detail.

  1. INFORMATION YOU ENTER INTO THE APP

2.1. The App lets you create and store practitioner and reference data, which may include:

  • notes, favorites, and custom reference entries;
  • client records, which may include a client’s name, and information you choose to add such as date of birth, phone number, email, pronouns, notes, and photos you attach to those notes; and
  • session records, including the items addressed and any notes you add.

2.2. This information is always stored on your device, in the App’s private storage. If you do not sign in, it stays there: it is not transmitted to Prodigy Life, and we do not have access to it. Sections 4 and 5 describe the specific situations in which a copy leaves your device: cloud backup and sync, and features that send information at your direction.

2.3. On an Apple device, the App’s data is included in your device backups if you back up your device (for example, through iCloud or a computer). Those backups are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy, not ours. On Android, the App opts out of Android backup, so its data is not included in your device’s Google backup.

  1. YOUR PRODIGY ACCOUNT

3.1. A Prodigy Account is optional. The reference library and your local practice data work without one. An account is required for cloud backup and sync, for subscriptions to take effect across devices, and for your certifications to appear in the App.

3.2. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the identifier those services provide for you. We use this to authenticate you, to connect your subscription or certification to you, and to contact you about your account. Authentication and account records are hosted for us by Supabase (Section 9) on servers in the United States.

3.3. If you hold a ProdigyClear certification, a record of it (the certification, its date, and your certificate) is kept on our servers and shown in the App when you sign in.

  1. CLOUD BACKUP AND SYNC

4.1. With a Prodigy Account and an active ProdigyClear Cloud subscription (or equivalent access we have granted), the App backs up and syncs your practice data so it follows you across devices. This copies the following to our servers: your clients, sessions and the items in them, notes, any photos you attach to a client’s notes, favorites, custom entries, and your practitioner profile.

4.2. This includes any Client information inside those records (Section 6). The cloud copy exists to provide backup and multi-device sync to you; we do not use it for any other purpose, we do not sell it, and access is restricted to your authenticated account through row-level security.

4.3. Sync is continuous while you are signed in and entitled. When you delete an item in the App, the next sync marks its cloud copy as deleted, and it disappears from your other devices when they sync. The deleted item’s record stays in your account’s cloud data, hidden from the App, until that data is deleted with your account (Section 8.3) or about two years after your subscription lapses (Section 8.2). When you delete a photo, or a client with photos, the App removes the image files from our servers as it syncs. Until the App syncs, including while your subscription has lapsed, a deleted item and its image files stay in the cloud as they were. If you erase the App’s data or delete the App from your device before it syncs, the deletion may never reach the cloud, and a deleted photo’s image files can stay there until your cloud data is deleted. Section 8 describes retention and account deletion.

  1. FEATURES THAT SEND INFORMATION AT YOUR DIRECTION

5.1. Send to Client. You can email a session record (as a PDF) to an email address you provide. The record and that address are transmitted through our servers to our email delivery provider (Resend) solely to deliver that message. Use this only with your client’s consent.

5.2. Prodigy AI. If you turn on Prodigy AI in Settings, the dream text you enter is sent through our servers to Anthropic, our AI provider, to produce the written reading, and the reading is returned to your device. Dream text is processed to provide the reading; we do not use it for advertising, and it is not used to train our or Anthropic’s models. With the toggle off, nothing is sent and the Dream Interpreter works from its on-device symbol library only.

Ask ProdigyClear. If you turn on Prodigy AI and ask a question in Help, the question you type and the recent questions and answers in that conversation are sent through our servers to Anthropic, our AI provider, together with the app’s own Help topics, list of screens and the names of its items that match your question, to produce the answer, which is returned to your device. Your client records, sessions, and notes are not sent; only what you type is, so leave client names out. We keep a count of questions and Wording Help requests per account per day, for up to seven days, to limit use; we do not keep the questions or answers unless you report one (see Reporting an answer, below). Questions are processed to provide the answer; we do not use them for advertising, and they are not used to train our or Anthropic’s models. With the toggle off, nothing is sent.

Wording Help. If you turn on Prodigy AI and use Wording Help on a session intention, the intention you ask about, or your answers to its questions, are sent through our servers to Anthropic, our AI provider, to suggest wording, which is returned to your device. The client’s name on that session is replaced on your device before sending; leave other names out. We do not keep the text or the suggestions unless you report them (see Reporting an answer, below), and they are not used to train our or Anthropic’s models. With the toggle off, nothing is sent.

Reporting an answer. Each Ask ProdigyClear answer, Prodigy AI dream reading, and set of Wording Help suggestions has a Report button. If you choose a reason and tap Send, we receive the answer, the question, dream, or intention it answered (for Wording Help, the intention or your answers to its questions, with the client’s name on the session taken out on your device, from your note too), the reason, your note, your app version and device type, and the time on your device, linked to your account. We store the report in our database and email a copy, without your email address or account ID, to our support inbox. People at Prodigy Healing read reports only to review the answer and correct the feature that wrote it; reports are not used to train our or Anthropic’s models. We delete a report 180 days after you send it, or sooner if you delete your account, and we delete the emailed copy on the same schedule.

5.3. Public practitioner listing. If you are a certified practitioner and choose to be listed in our public directory, the profile details you choose (such as your name, location, contact details, and bio) are published on our website. You can change this choice at any time in the practitioner portal.

5.4. Random draws. Quantum Pick and the App’s other random draws, such as the card decks, the I Ching, and the runes, use random numbers fetched over the Internet. The App asks our own random-number service first, and that request carries no account or personal information, only how many numbers it needs. When our service cannot supply them, the App asks two public random-number services directly: first the ANU quantum random number generator at the Australian National University, then random.org. Those requests carry no account or personal information either. Those services see what any website you visit sees: your device’s network address and the standard details its software adds to a web request, such as the system version and the device model or the App’s name. When none of them can be reached, the App uses your device’s own random-number generator. The App may fetch random numbers ahead of time, when you open a screen that uses them.

  1. CLIENT INFORMATION AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A PRACTITIONER

6.1. If you use the App to record information about another person (a “Client”), you are responsible for that information. You represent that you have the Client’s informed consent to record and store their information, including its cloud backup if you use sync, and that you will handle it in accordance with all applicable privacy and data-protection laws. A photo you attach to a Client’s notes may show their body or another health-related detail, and you are responsible for obtaining their consent before taking and storing it.

6.2. Prodigy Life is not a covered entity under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the App is not designed for the storage of HIPAA-regulated protected health information. You are solely responsible for determining whether the App is appropriate for your practice and for your own legal compliance.

6.3. Client information belongs to your practice. Where it is synced, we host it on your behalf to provide the service to you. Requests from a Client to access, correct, or delete their information should be directed to you, the Practitioner; you can make the changes they ask for directly within the App. A deletion you make removes the information from the App, on your other devices too when they sync; in the cloud copy, the deleted item’s record stays until your cloud data is deleted, and the image files of deleted photos are removed from our servers when the App syncs, as Section 4.3 describes.

  1. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

7.1. App Store and Google Play. When you download the App or purchase a subscription, Apple processes the transaction on an Apple device, and Google Play processes it on Android, with subscriptions billed through Google Play Billing. We receive the subscription’s status (which plan, whether it is active, and when it ends) so the App can unlock what you paid for, and aggregate, non-identifying information such as download counts. On Android, the App sends the purchase’s token and product ID to our servers, which ask Google to confirm the purchase and keep the token with your subscription record; when you subscribe, the App also gives Google Play your Prodigy Account’s user ID, a random code, so the purchase can be matched to your account. We never receive your payment card details. Apple’s and Google’s handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

7.2. Training purchases. Enrollment in our certification training is purchased on our website and processed by Stripe under the website’s privacy policy; the App itself takes no payment. Your enrollment and coursework records are kept on our servers and connected to your Prodigy Account.

7.3. Diagnostics. If you consent through your device settings, Apple may share crash and usage diagnostics with us to help improve the App, and on Android, Google Play may share crash reports with us if you have chosen to share usage and diagnostics data with Google. This information is provided in aggregate or de-identified form and is not used to identify you. The App contains no crash-reporting or analytics code of its own.

7.4. The App does not include third-party advertising, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

  1. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

8.1. On your device: the information you enter is retained for as long as you keep it in the App. You can delete individual items, clients, or sessions at any time, and deleting the App from your device deletes its local data on that device.

8.2. In the cloud: your synced data is retained while your account is active. If your subscription lapses, your cloud data is retained for about two years so a renewal can pick up where you left off, and is then scheduled for deletion. About 30 days before it is deleted, we email the address on your Prodigy Account. Deleting the cloud copy does not close your account or touch the data on your devices. Short-lived server backups rotate out on their own schedule.

8.3. Deleting your account: you can delete your Prodigy Account from Settings in the App. This permanently removes your account and your synced practice data from our servers, except as described below. Your local data stays on your device unless you also choose to erase it. Besides the records Section 8.4 describes, six things stay after an account is deleted. First, if you ever subscribed, a one-way code made from your email address (a SHA-256 hash) is kept for each Prodigy app you subscribed to, with nothing else attached, so that each free trial is offered only once per email. Second, if you hold a certification, your record in our practitioner registry, and any public directory listing you chose (Section 5.3), are kept apart from your account: deleting the account unlinks them but does not remove them, and if you ask us by email, we take your listing out of the public directory, while the registry record stays. Third, if you enrolled in our certification training, an archive of your enrollment, progress, quiz attempts, and submission records is kept. Fourth, if we gave you free access to an app, including access set up for your email address before you had an account, our audit record of it keeps your email address, the app, the dates, who set it up, and any note they added. Fifth, if we delete your account because you asked by email, we keep the account’s ID, which of us deleted it, the date, and a one-way code made from your email address (a SHA-256 hash), never the address itself. Sixth, the emailed copy of a Prodigy AI answer you reported, which carries no email address or account ID, stays in our support inbox until 180 days after you sent it. Just before the account is deleted, we delete from our storage the photos attached to your clients’ notes, your practitioner logo, and the practicum files you uploaded, up to 100 for each training enrollment. If our storage fails during that step, or an enrollment has more than 100 practicum files, the deletion still goes ahead, and a file can be left behind in private storage that only Prodigy Healing can reach; if the photo step does not finish, we record which account it was so the rest can be removed by hand. The page at https://prodigyhealing.com/delete-account/ explains how to delete your account in the App or by email, and what stays.

8.4. We retain account records, aggregate information, and diagnostic information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.

  1. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED

9.1. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that operate parts of the App for us, each bound to use it only to provide services to us:

  • Supabase (hosting, authentication, database, and file storage for accounts, sync, and certifications; United States);
  • Resend (delivery of emails you send from the App, of account and course emails, and of the reports you send about Prodigy AI answers to our support inbox);
  • Anthropic (processing of dream text, Ask ProdigyClear questions, and Wording Help text for Prodigy AI features, when you use them);
  • Apple and Google (sign-in, if you sign in with Apple or Google; and purchases, through the App Store on an Apple device or Google Play on Android);
  • Stripe (payment processing for training purchased on our website).

9.2. We may also disclose information as required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, and limited aggregate or de-identified information as described in Section 7.

9.3. If Prodigy Life is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, this policy will continue to govern the information covered by it, and we will provide notice of any material change in how information is handled.

  1. SECURITY

10.1. On your device, the App relies on the security protections built into your device and its operating system, including the App’s private, sandboxed storage. You are responsible for securing your device, for example with a passcode or biometric lock.

10.2. In transit and in the cloud, your data is encrypted in transit (TLS), and access to synced data is restricted to your authenticated account through row-level security. Server credentials and signing secrets are held server-side and never shipped in the App.

10.3. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

11.1. The App is intended for adults and for professional practitioner use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you are a Practitioner recording information about a minor, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary consent from the minor’s parent or guardian.

  1. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

12.1. For information on your device, you can exercise access, correction, and deletion directly within the App at any time. For your account and synced data, edits you make in the App sync to the cloud copy, and an item you delete is marked deleted there, with its record kept until your cloud data is deleted (Section 4.3). Account deletion removes the cloud copy, with the exceptions Section 8.3 lists.

12.2. U.S. state privacy rights (including California). Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information is collected, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

12.3. EEA and UK residents (GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, and port your personal information, and to withdraw consent. For your account and synced data, we act as a controller and our legal bases are your consent and the performance of our agreement with you; for Client information you sync, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf. You can exercise these rights in the App or by contacting us.

12.4. To make a request that concerns information we hold, or to ask a question about your rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and in any event within 60 days.

  1. INTERNATIONAL USERS

13.1. The App and its cloud services are operated from the United States, and synced data is stored on servers in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and handled in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your country.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

14.1. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
