PRODIGYCLEAR PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Prodigy Life LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Prodigy Healing (“Prodigy Life,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the ProdigyClear mobile application (the “App”).
This policy applies to the App and to the ProdigyClear cloud services used with it. Our website and in-person services are covered by the separate privacy policy at https://prodigyhealing.com/privacy-policy/.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
- THE SHORT VERSION
ProdigyClear is designed to keep your information under your control.
- The free reference library works entirely on your device, with no account.
- The notes, favorites, custom entries, clients, and sessions you create are stored on your device. They are copied to our servers only if you sign in to a Prodigy Account and have an active ProdigyClear Cloud subscription (or access we have granted), which turns on backup and sync.
- Some features send specific information at your direction, and only then: emailing a session record to a client, and the optional Prodigy AI dream reading.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and the App contains no advertising and no cross-app tracking.
- Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store. We never see your payment card details.
The sections below give the complete detail.
- INFORMATION YOU ENTER INTO THE APP
2.1. The App lets you create and store practitioner and reference data, which may include:
- notes, favorites, and custom reference entries;
- client records, which may include a client’s name, and information you choose to add such as date of birth, phone number, email, pronouns, and notes; and
- session records, including the items addressed and any notes you add.
2.2. This information is always stored on your device, in the App’s private storage. If you do not sign in, it stays there: it is not transmitted to Prodigy Life, and we do not have access to it. Sections 4 and 5 describe the specific situations in which a copy leaves your device: cloud backup and sync, and features that send information at your direction.
2.3. Data on your device is included in your device backups if you back up your device (for example, through iCloud or a computer). Those backups are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy, not ours.
- YOUR PRODIGY ACCOUNT
3.1. A Prodigy Account is optional. The reference library and your local practice data work without one. An account is required for cloud backup and sync, for subscriptions to take effect across devices, and for your certifications to appear in the App.
3.2. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the identifier those services provide for you. We use this to authenticate you, to connect your subscription or certification to you, and to contact you about your account. Authentication and account records are hosted for us by Supabase (Section 9) on servers in the United States.
3.3. If you hold a ProdigyClear certification, a record of it (the certification, its date, and your certificate) is kept on our servers and shown in the App when you sign in.
- CLOUD BACKUP AND SYNC
4.1. With a Prodigy Account and an active ProdigyClear Cloud subscription (or equivalent access we have granted), the App backs up and syncs your practice data so it follows you across devices. This copies the following to our servers: your clients, sessions and the items in them, notes, favorites, custom entries, and your practitioner profile.
4.2. This includes any Client information inside those records (Section 6). The cloud copy exists to provide backup and multi-device sync to you; we do not use it for any other purpose, we do not sell it, and access is restricted to your authenticated account through row-level security.
4.3. Sync is continuous while you are signed in and entitled. Deleting an item in the App deletes its cloud copy on the next sync. Section 8 describes retention and account deletion.
- FEATURES THAT SEND INFORMATION AT YOUR DIRECTION
5.1. Send to Client. You can email a session record (as a PDF) to an email address you provide. The record and that address are transmitted through our servers to our email delivery provider (Resend) solely to deliver that message. Use this only with your client’s consent.
5.2. Prodigy AI dream readings. If you turn on Prodigy AI in Settings, the dream text you enter is sent through our servers to Anthropic, our AI provider, to produce the written reading, and the reading is returned to your device. Dream text is processed to provide the reading; we do not use it for advertising, and it is not used to train our or Anthropic’s models. With the toggle off, nothing is sent and the Dream Interpreter works from its on-device symbol library only.
5.3. Public practitioner listing. If you are a certified practitioner and choose to be listed in our public directory, the profile details you choose (such as your name, location, contact details, and bio) are published on our website. You can change this choice at any time in the practitioner portal.
- CLIENT INFORMATION AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A PRACTITIONER
6.1. If you use the App to record information about another person (a “Client”), you are responsible for that information. You represent that you have the Client’s informed consent to record and store their information, including its cloud backup if you use sync, and that you will handle it in accordance with all applicable privacy and data-protection laws.
6.2. Prodigy Life is not a covered entity under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the App is not designed for the storage of HIPAA-regulated protected health information. You are solely responsible for determining whether the App is appropriate for your practice and for your own legal compliance.
6.3. Client information belongs to your practice. Where it is synced, we host it on your behalf to provide the service to you. Requests from a Client to access, correct, or delete their information should be directed to you, the Practitioner; you can fulfill them directly within the App, and deletions you make propagate to the cloud copy.
- INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
7.1. App Store and Apple. When you download the App or purchase a subscription, Apple processes the transaction. We receive the subscription’s status (which plan, whether it is active, and when it ends) so the App can unlock what you paid for, and aggregate, non-identifying information such as download counts. We never receive your payment card details. Apple’s handling of your information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
7.2. Training purchases. Enrollment in our certification training is purchased on our website and processed by Stripe under the website’s privacy policy; the App itself takes no payment. Your enrollment and coursework records are kept on our servers and connected to your Prodigy Account.
7.3. Diagnostics. If you consent through your device settings, Apple may share crash and usage diagnostics with us to help improve the App. This information is provided in aggregate or de-identified form and is not used to identify you.
7.4. The App does not include third-party advertising, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
- DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
8.1. On your device: the information you enter is retained for as long as you keep it in the App. You can delete individual items, clients, or sessions at any time, and deleting the App from your device deletes its local data on that device.
8.2. In the cloud: your synced data is retained while your account is active. If your subscription lapses, your cloud data is retained for a grace period of about 90 days so a renewal can pick up where you left off, and is then scheduled for deletion. Short-lived server backups rotate out on their own schedule.
8.3. Deleting your account: you can delete your Prodigy Account from Settings in the App. This permanently removes your account and every synced copy of your practice data from our servers. Your local data stays on your device unless you also choose to erase it.
8.4. We retain account records, aggregate information, and diagnostic information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
- HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED
9.1. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that operate parts of the App for us, each bound to use it only to provide services to us:
- Supabase (hosting, authentication, database, and file storage for accounts, sync, and certifications; United States);
- Resend (delivery of emails you send from the App and of account and course emails);
- Anthropic (processing of dream text for Prodigy AI readings, when you use that feature);
- Apple, and Google if you sign in with Google (sign-in; and Apple for App Store purchases);
- Stripe (payment processing for training purchased on our website).
9.2. We may also disclose information as required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, and limited aggregate or de-identified information as described in Section 7.
9.3. If Prodigy Life is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, this policy will continue to govern the information covered by it, and we will provide notice of any material change in how information is handled.
- SECURITY
10.1. On your device, the App relies on the security protections built into your device and its operating system, including the App’s private, sandboxed storage. You are responsible for securing your device, for example with a passcode or biometric lock.
10.2. In transit and in the cloud, your data is encrypted in transit (TLS), and access to synced data is restricted to your authenticated account through row-level security. Server credentials and signing secrets are held server-side and never shipped in the App.
10.3. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
11.1. The App is intended for adults and for professional practitioner use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you are a Practitioner recording information about a minor, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary consent from the minor’s parent or guardian.
- YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
12.1. For information on your device, you can exercise access, correction, and deletion directly within the App at any time. For your account and synced data, the same edits and deletions propagate from the App, and account deletion (Section 8.3) removes the cloud copy entirely.
12.2. U.S. state privacy rights (including California). Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information is collected, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
12.3. EEA and UK residents (GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, and port your personal information, and to withdraw consent. For your account and synced data, we act as a controller and our legal bases are your consent and the performance of our agreement with you; for Client information you sync, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf. You can exercise these rights in the App or by contacting us.
12.4. To make a request that concerns information we hold, or to ask a question about your rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and in any event within 60 days.
- INTERNATIONAL USERS
13.1. The App and its cloud services are operated from the United States, and synced data is stored on servers in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and handled in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your country.
- CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
14.1. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
