We’re teaching our next combined Reiki I and II class on the autumn equinox weekend: Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 10am to 5pm ET both days. Jamie teaches both days at the Lighthouse, a private community home in Annandale, Virginia.
In Level I, you’ll learn the history, philosophy, and principles of Reiki, then get straight into practice: hands-on work, energetic awareness, and intuitive flow. You’ll receive Reiju, the original form of attunement and a transmission unique to traditional Japanese Reiki, and you’ll learn the authentic versions of the Reiki symbols. By the end of Level I, you’ll have a strong connection to Universal Life Force Energy and the confidence to begin practicing Reiki in your daily life.
Level II takes you further: sending Reiki across space and time, deepening your intuition, working with emotional healing, and using crystals for grounding, amplification, and energetic precision.
Prodigy Reiki comes directly from the Hayashi lineage rather than the Takata lineage most American Reiki descends from, so you learn the symbols and the Reiju in their original form. We also teach what modern energy work has added: energetic hygiene, shielding, consent and boundaries, and how to run a complete professional session.
We start each morning with a cacao ceremony, and we’ll have light refreshments for you during the day.
For the equinox, the class is $333 with the code LIGHTHOUSE instead of the usual $555.
