Why do we need high-vibration foods?

What are we talking about here?

Every physical object on Earth has a vibration, or frequency. Quantum Physics shows us that all matter is made of energy, and there are some theories that all matter is just “frozen” light (photons).

When we decide to eat something, we are nourishing our physical body, but also influencing and nourishing our energetic body. This is why high-vibration foods are critical.

With everything, we want to try and expose ourselves to the highest frequencies or vibrations possible. Here are some of the benefits:

  • Uplift us rather than pull us down
  • Promote proper cellular regeneration and healing
  • Give us the highest level of nourishment available
  • Detoxification of both the physical and energetic bodies

What is a high-vibration food?

A high-vibration food is physical food that vibrates at a high frequency. The goal of consuming high-vibration foods is to reduce physical and energetic toxins and allow our physical and energetic bodies to increase their own vibration.

Examples of High-Vibration Foods

Here is a list of high-vibration foods from highest to lowest:

  1. Raw organic fruit
  2. Raw organic vegetables
  3. Cooked organic fruit
  4. Cooked organic vegetables
  5. Raw conventional (non-organic) fruit
  6. Raw conventional vegetables
  7. Cooked conventional fruit
  8. Cooked conventional vegetables

You may notice that there are no animal foods or animal-derived foods on this list. That is because food from animal sources, specifically meat, is the lowest vibration food. This is why many world religions that focus on self-improvement and spiritual progression abstain from the consumption of animal-based foods. Spiritual progress becomes much more difficult when we expose ourselves to low-vibrational things.

What about processed plant-based foods?

Simply because something is plant-based does not mean it is intrinsically high-vibration. Products that are plant-based are intrinsically a higher vibration that animal-based products, but still a lower vibration than unprocessed plant-based foods. Foods with many additives, processing agents, etc. are more toxic and are more difficult for the body to process – the body sometimes has difficulty recognizing these “foods” as actual food. When that happens, our bodies often try to get rid of these foods, which reduces the ability to absorb nutrients, or it may store the toxins in our fat cells (adipose tissue).

Well, what should I eat, then?

The point of this post is not to tell you what you should or shouldn’t eat, but to bring awareness to the fact that the vibration and frequencies of what we eat are important. Obviously, we want more higher-vibration foods than lower ones.

If you’re interested in working on a plan to include more high-vibration foods in your diet, let us know – we can help you with that. You can also work with a nutritionist, as well. As far as diets are concerned, one of the best is a whole-food plant-based diet (WFPB). If you’re interested, you can also get certified in the WFPB from Cornell University for an in-depth scientific and practical understanding.

Can we increase the vibration of food?

There are several ways to increase the vibration of food and it is important to do so before you put any food into your body. The journey from the farm to your table (unless you’re growing your own) is often a long and complicated adventure. Think about all the people that have handled the food, where it has traveled, and to what it has been exposed. All of this needs to be cleared and the food elevated (increased in frequency). You can easily do this.

In many cultural and religious traditions, before a meal, there is often a blessing. This initially was to promote gratitude, one of the highest vibration emotions, and to elevate the food itself.

Simply by being mindful, focusing on the food in front of you, and blessing or showing gratitude for your food, you elevate it. You can say a prayer, set an intention, or simply be grateful. All of these methods work. If you’re one who works with energy, you can place your hands around the bowl during this process and feel a positive shift upward.
