This page is for ProdigyClear, an app from Prodigy Life LLC, doing business as Prodigy Healing. It explains the two ways to delete your Prodigy Account, in the app or by email, and what happens to the data stored with it.
One Prodigy Account works in ProdigyClear, Mindsight, and Lightfield. Deleting it deletes it for all three. It cannot be undone.
Before You Delete
Cancel your subscription first. A subscription is separate from your account and keeps renewing until you cancel it where you bought it. Deleting the account does not cancel it.
- Google Play: cancel it at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- App Store, on an iPhone or iPad: open Settings, then Apple Account, then Subscriptions, and cancel it there.
- Our website: sign in at prodigyhealing.com/subscribe/, choose Manage Billing under the app, and cancel it there. Do this before you delete the account, because afterward you cannot sign in to reach Manage Billing.
The app cannot move a subscription bought under this account to a new account. If you delete the account while a subscription is still active, email us and we will sort it out.
Keep a copy if you want one. In the app, Settings, Backup and Restore, Export Backup saves your practice as a backup file. Deleting the account does not touch a file you saved.
For help with either step, email contact@prodigyhealing.com.
Delete It in the App
- Open ProdigyClear and tap the Settings tab.
- Sign in if you are not signed in. If you forgot your password, tap Forgot password? in the sign-in window, open the link we email you, set a new password, then return to the app and sign in.
- At the bottom of the Prodigy Account card, tap Delete Account.
- Read the first message and tap Continue.
- Choose Delete and Keep Data on This Device, or Delete and Erase This Device Too. Either choice deletes your cloud data, as described under What is Deleted below. The choice is only about the copy on this device.
The deletion runs when you make the choice in step five. On an iPhone, if you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm first, and canceling there stops the deletion. When it finishes, the account no longer exists and you are signed out. If it cannot finish, the app says so and you can try again.
Or Ask Us by Email
Email contact@prodigyhealing.com from the address on your account. Put “ProdigyClear account deletion” in the subject and say you want the account deleted. You do not need the app, and you do not need to reinstall it. When your request arrives, we email the address on the account to confirm it, and a person at Prodigy Healing deletes the account with our administration tool only after you answer from that address. Deleting the account this way does not cancel a subscription either, so cancel yours first, as described under Before You Delete. We answer within the time the law requires, and within 60 days at the latest.
If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, the address on your account is an Apple relay address, not your own. You can see it in your Apple Account settings, under Sign in with Apple. Email us from your own address and include the relay address. Before we delete anything, we write to the relay address, which Apple forwards to your inbox, and wait for your reply. Deleting in the app needs none of this.
What Is Deleted
When the deletion finishes, these are removed from our servers:
- Your Prodigy Account: your sign-in email and password record, and any Google or Apple sign-in linked to it.
- Everything ProdigyClear, Mindsight, and Lightfield have synced to the account. For ProdigyClear that is your clients, sessions, and the items in them, notes, favorites, custom entries and sections, and your practitioner profile.
- Your subscription record with us: which plan you have and its dates.
- Your daily count of requests to Ask ProdigyClear and Wording Help, which we keep for seven days at most in any case.
- Reports you sent about Prodigy AI answers (we delete each one 180 days after you send it in any case).
Short-lived server backups drop these copies on their own schedule.
Photos and logo. We delete your Chart Notes photos and your practitioner logo from cloud storage just before we delete the account. If our storage fails during that step, the account is still deleted, and a file can be left behind in private storage that only Prodigy Healing can reach. If the photo step does not finish, we record which account it was, so the rest can be removed by hand.
Google and Apple sign-in. Deleting removes your Google or Apple sign-in from our servers. If you signed in with Apple and delete in the app on an iPhone or iPad, the app also asks Apple to end the connection. Otherwise the connection stays listed with Google or Apple until you remove it: for Google, in your Google Account’s list of connected apps; for Apple, in your Apple Account settings, under Sign in with Apple.
What Happens on Your Device
- Delete and Keep Data on This Device: your practice data stays on this phone, no longer tied to any account. A new account, or an existing one, can pick it up. Uninstalling the app removes it.
- Delete and Erase This Device Too: your clients, sessions, notes, favorites, custom entries, photos, and profile are removed from this phone as well.
What Stays
- A trial code. If you ever subscribed, we keep a one-way code made from your email address, one for each Prodigy app you subscribed to, with nothing else attached. It makes sure each free trial is offered once per email.
- Certification and directory records. If Prodigy has certified you, your certification record, and any public directory listing you chose, are held in our practitioner registry, which is separate from your app account. Deleting the account unlinks them and does not remove them. If you ask us by email, we take your listing out of the public directory. The certification record stays.
- Training records. If you enrolled in our certification training, we keep an archive of your enrollment, progress, quiz attempts, and submission records. We delete the practicum files you uploaded, up to 100 files for each enrollment, before we delete the account. If our storage fails then, or there are more than 100, the rest stay in private storage that only Prodigy Healing can reach.
- Free access records. If Prodigy Healing gave you free access to an app, including access set up for your email address before you had an account, we keep our audit record of it: your email address, the app, the dates, who set it up, and any note they added.
- A record of a deletion by email. If we delete your account because you asked by email, we keep the account’s ID, which of us deleted it, the date, and a one-way code made from your email address, so we can confirm later that we deleted it. The address itself is not kept.
- Payment records. Google, Apple, and Stripe hold the records of payments made through them, under their own policies. We never see your card details.
- Messages you already sent. An email you sent to a client from the app stays with that client. A feature suggestion you sent stays in our support mailbox.
- Prodigy AI text. We do not store your questions to Ask ProdigyClear, your dream text, or the intention wording you send to Wording Help, unless you report an answer (see What is Deleted). They go to Prodigy AI, a third-party AI service, to write the reply, and that service handles them under its own terms.
- What the law requires. We keep information for as long as the law requires it.
The full policy is at prodigyhealing.com/prodigyclear-privacy-policy/; sections 8.2 to 8.4 cover retention and deletion.
